Green SmartFactory 4.0
Green SmartFactory 4.0 is one of the IndustryFusion Foundation's lighthouse projects, in which digitalization and interoperable networking is implemented across manufacturers. Based on Industry 4.0 criteria, the participating companies develop the administration shells (digital twin) for their assets and use them in real production environments (smart factories).
IF-Register for Identification & Certification
Secure identities are the starting point for the security chain that secures data collection, transport and processing at hardware, software and process level. Against this background, the IF-Register for Identification & Certification project is defining the requirements for the assignment of globally uniquely identifiable identities, the generation of standardizable metadata models and the issuance and management of security certificates.
Dataspace for Industry 4.0
IndustryFusion addresses the creation of a virtual data space that supports the secure exchange of data and the simple linking of data in a wide variety of business ecosystems on the basis of standards and with the help of collaborative governance models. The IndustryFusion Data Space preserves the digital sovereignty of the data owners and at the same time forms the basis for smart services and innovative business processes.
Blockchain and SmartFinance
Integration of distributed ledger technology (DLT) into the IndustryFusion environment is a strategic move to enhance security, transparency, and immutability across various processes. The integration strategy ensures IndustryFusion's processes are future-proofed, adaptable, and ready for growth, with DLT serving as a foundational element for innovation and transparency.
Cloud Manufacturing: x-share
Based on IndustryFusion-X, the Dataspace for Industry 4.0, cloud manufacturing is becoming a reality: production factors, capacities and technologies are digitally networked across production. In this way, the entire manufacturing process is linked, managed and operated independently of location. As a result, production factors can also be shared across companies - the aim is to achieve full economic utilization of all machines involved in the manufacturing process.
