Great interest in the new DemoLab

In recent weeks, we welcomed numerous guests to our new DemoLab in Bad Wörishofen. The focus: The professional exchange on Industry 4.0 and the development of an open and interoperable networking as well as the tour of the model factory for the realization of cross-manufacturer networked manufacturing.

The further development of the open source solution is characterized by a close cooperation with partners, members & supporters. Therefore, the Foundation was very pleased about the great interest of Martin Batz (Business Development Manager at IONOS), Keith Basil (General Manager, Edge Business Unit at SUSE) as well as Jose Cardoso Ramirez (General Manager, Manufacturing Global Solution Sales and Center of Excellence at Intel). All partners were enthusiastic about the developments and visions of the IndustryFusion Foundation towards an intelligent networking of the manufacturing industry.

Science in interaction with business & politics was the central topic in the exchange with Bernhard Pohl (Freie Wähler, member of the Bavarian State Parliament, among others member of the Committee for State Budget and Finance). Among other things, the possibilities of how Bavarian politics can sustainably support and promote the objective of implementing IndustryFusion were discussed. Bernhard Pohl also showed great interest in the developments of the open source networking solution and the implementation in the new DemoLab.
